The Power of The Press
For more than 50 years, the term conspiracy theory has been used by media outlets to convey a sense of warning or dismissal of alternative thoughts. But who coined the term conspiracy theory? What is a conspiracy? And why does the media use this term when referring to an alternative thought or idea?
This blog will address the questions I have laid out and allow you, the reader, a chance to decide what you think a conspiracy theory is and is not.

First, let's learn about the term conspiracy theory. The current claim is that the term was coined by the CIA Document Concerning Criticism of the Warren Report. This report came through the New York Times request in 1976 via the Freedom of Information Act.
It Is In The Details
This document represents the fear the CIA and other branches of the government had regarding the official version of John F. Kennedy's assassination. The debate was and still is about the lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald. How could the president sustain multiple gun wounds by a single bullet?

Caught on Film
When you think of the term conspiracy theory, what comes to mind? Yes, it is considered a derogatory term. The person or people telling the counterargument to the official story is crazy. Think tinfoil hats. I'm not going to go into the story of how our 35th president was killed in public, but if you want to consider the official version vs. the alternative version, click the associated links and read or see the original film of the killing for yourself. The Zapruder film shows Kennedy's head dipping forward and then a sharp hit to his forehead where he goes back and to the left. Here is a film clip from the 1991 movie JFK, with Kevin Costner that details the actual film and the court case documents available after the murder of Kennedy. You decide if it was one man who committed the crime.

Cheers!
What is a conspiracy? It is when two or more people conspire to bring about a secret plan to do something unlawful or harmful. So in effect, people talking about JFK's murder is neither unlawful nor harmful. It is simply a question of how could one man and one bullet do this damage?
There are several alternative stories, but most importantly some suggest a plot by the CIA. Others think there was a plan within the white house, that included LBJ (Lyndon Baines Johnson), our 36th president. Further, we can add Jimmy Hoffa, the Mob, the Cubans, or the Soviets to the list.
I even heard the one about Woody Harrelson's Dad. Sounds nuts right? Only the truth is, in 1968, Charles Harrelson, the father of the actor, Woody Harrelson, was convicted of the murder of a businessman, Sam Degelia, in a contract killing in South Texas. He served 5-years on a 15-year sentence.

Freedom of The Press
Finally, why is there a collective refrain of the term conspiracy theory from the media? It always comes up when someone or a group of people disagrees with the collective narrative? The answer to the question is a lot deeper than reporting the truth. There are many available accounts of the political machine controlling the story's that go out to supportive media outlets. The idea is if you can control the narrative in the press, then you can control the people.
The press isn't always to blame. For example, the field reporters are harassed and even shot with rubber bullets to limit the news coming to Americans. Here are some examples during the George Floyd protest.
You also have to take into consideration who is paying for the advertising on that media outlet. The more you spend as a corporation, the more you can control what stories are written or televised. Why is it that we as a citizenry are unaware of the threat we face with Global Warming?
Is it Hot in Here?
A recent study found extreme weather events in 2013 had created 450 broadcast news segments. Out of all of the broadcasts, only 16 of those even mentioned climate change. The New York Times recently shuttered its environmental desk, reducing the number of reporters whose focus was on chasing down climate change stories.
What is the purpose, you might ask? We collectively miss the stories like the more than 400,000 protests in the People's Climate March in New York City and the simultaneous protests that it spurred across the globe, calling for government, corporate, and media leaders to address the problem of climate change.
Free Energy is Here
Why should you care who is protesting? Consider a physicist named Nassim Harrimein. He has solved Einstien's last problem, Field Equations. With his unique geometrical thesis known as The Unified Field Theory. Again, why and who cares? Here is why this math matters. Nassim discovered the power that exists in a proton and how to extract that energy anywhere in the universe. Free Energy for all and this math exists today. You can watch this 4-minute video to see him speak about free energy.
So why don't we have free energy today? Another good question. The answer is you need funding and support to develop practical solutions to our world's transportation and energy needs. The bigger question is why don't we know about this technology, and why isn't this part of the U.S. or Global budget discussion?

How Much??
Reflect on this, Exxon is one of 16 major oil companies in the world. As of June 2021, their net worth is valued at $258B. As I stated earlier, there are 16 other multi-billion dollar oil companies in competition with them. If energy becomes free it would fundamentally shift the wealth scale of the world. But that's o.k. The media thinks that free energy is a joke and global warming is a scam from China.
When we have information on the options we use to "fuel" our lives, we can make better decisions and demand more from our government and the companies we do business with. We as citizens and consumers have the immense power to determine the fate of these entities, but if we are kept unaware, we become grounded and ineffective.
Here You Go
Consider the stories you have access to read or watch on t.v. You are offered topics like shootings, carjackings, and partisan politics. And for fun, you get to see which celebrity had a baby or filed for a divorce. If you take out the weather and the sports, you get about 2-3 minutes of this type of national news in a half-hour show and forget it if you want international headlines. Meanwhile, there are people like Nassim who are solving Einstein's forgotten equations and figuring out how to bend space and time for interstellar travel purposes. You can tell me what stories you'd prefer to read or hear.
To clarify my example further, think about when you shop at a grocery store, you can only buy the products that are on the shelf. If you didn't know that there are better products available, how will you know to ask for them? You won't unless you go out and meet with the other vendors. As long as you have a couple of options, you feel good. What happens when you are limited to just one choice? Yes, you feel trapped or forced.
Currently, if you want news you have your local news, Network news, and three big cable channel news outlets. Each cable news channel has one specific demographic and based on how you lean politically, you'll probably choose that cable news program. If you look at it from this perspective, you only have one choice, don't you? However, the illusion is that you have many.
So how do you get the unbiased news you can't get from tv or newspapers? You can start by searching for journalists who have been let go by the larger news outlets. They usually create their own blog or contribute to multiple news worthy websites. Also, you can start reading between the lines of articles you read and see if you can get an opposite perspective. Or you can research the companies you currently purchase goods from and determine if they are the type of company you want to support. I have also found that Netflix and Prime are good sources for documentaries on everything from food, farming, climate change, too aliens.
Hey, Look Over Here
All of this sounds like a bit of work, still. The alternative is you can dig in and believe what you've been told from the major media outlets. That's o.k. too. The truth is there is no conspiracy, only fact, and fiction. How you determine which is which, is by understanding the whole story, and that can take some time. It is up to you to determine how much your time is worth and how it makes you feel.
