This just in
As we move into the middle of the 2020s, more information is coming out regarding the legitimacy of UFOs. I'm a Gen X'er, and growing up in the '70s and '80s, people who believed in UFOs were considered crackpots. Today, more and more people are starting to understand that officials misled us about life on other planets visiting the Earth. As a result, the truth is coming out through traditional media and eyewitness accounts on social media. Today, I share an amazing story about a collaboration between the Vatican and the U.S. to suppress life-changing information and technology.
On June 13, 2023, the New York Post reported a stunning claim by former U.S. intelligence officer David Grusch (my related blog), who noted that the Vatican played a secret role in assisting the United States in retrieving a crashed UFO from Benito Mussolini's fascist regime in the 1930s.

Black Smoke

Consequently, this extraordinary statement, made as part of Grusch's broader whistleblower testimony to Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General, has reignited long-standing suspicions about the Vatican's involvement in concealing evidence of extraterrestrial life.
Following the 1933 crash in Magenta, Italy, the UFO—described as "partially intact and non-human"—was recovered by the Italian military and stored at a secure airbase until the end of World War II. Interestingly, Grusch asserted that Pope Pius XII covertly backchanneled information about the craft to the United States, paving the way for its transfer into American hands after Mussolini's fall. This account aligns with previous claims by Italian researcher Roberto Pinotti, who described "Fascist UFO files" and secret Vatican involvement in post-war negotiations.
Reaching for the Stars
Founded in 1582, the Vatican Observatory is one of the world's oldest astronomical institutions. Still active today—with facilities both in Italy and Arizona—it reflects the Church's deep and ongoing interest in celestial phenomena. While not directly linked to UFO studies, some argue that the Vatican's scientific infrastructure suggests a long-standing curiosity about life beyond Earth. After all, why would a religious institution invest in space science for over 400 years unless it held open the possibility of intelligent life elsewhere?
In 2008, Father José Gabriel Funes, then head of the Vatican Observatory, told L'Osservatore Romano that belief in aliens "does not contradict our faith." He emphasized that God's creation is boundless and that the existence of "brothers" beyond Earth could be part of divine design. Such remarks, while speculative, appear to gently prepare Catholic believers for the possibility that intelligent life exists outside our planet—without contradicting foundational religious doctrines.

Interstellar Partnership
Meanwhile, the controversial "Serpo Exchange Program" files circulated in the mid-2000s suggested that Vatican officials were briefed on U.S. extraterrestrial contact as early as the 1960s. To clarify, the Serpo Exchange Program is an alleged secret U.S. government initiative involving an extraterrestrial race known as the Ebens from the planet Serpo. According to the report, the program began in 1962 under President Kennedy's directive, with the first exchange taking place in 1965.
Further, the secret report indicates that twelve U.S. astronaut-trained military personnel were reportedly sent to Serpo, where they lived for 13 years to study the alien civilization and collaborate with the Ebens. Only seven members of the original team are said to have returned, and their experiences were allegedly recorded in a 3,000-page debriefing document, including a detailed diary by the mission commander.
The Ebens reportedly shared advanced technologies—particularly in antigravity and energy systems—which the U.S. attempted to reverse-engineer. Some sources claim that this exchange marked the beginning of an ongoing relationship between the U.S. government and the Eben species.

Where's the Beef!
To clarify, like all UFO information, these documents remain unverified. However, their consistency with later statements—such as those by Grusch—adds a probability pattern for those open to the idea. Additionally, researchers believe that high-level secrecy agreements between governments and religious institutions may have kept this information hidden from public scrutiny for decades.
Formerly called the "Secret Archive," this extensive vault reportedly contains documents dating back over a millennium (1,000 years). Although scholars essentially use it for religious and historical research, many theorists believe it also holds suppressed records of unexplained aerial phenomena, ancient contact narratives, or evidence of "divine beings" interpreted through a religious lens. Due to limited access, the contents remain largely speculative—yet the mystery itself continues to spark global curiosity.
How do you view the World?
For example, UFO researchers interpret the Book of Ezekiel's vision of a "wheel within a wheel" and the Book of Enoch's tales of watchers descending from the heavens as potential references to early contact events. Though traditionally viewed as metaphors or spiritual experiences, some now see such passages as misinterpreted descriptions of spacecraft or non-human intelligence—possibly understood through the theological paradigms of ancient prophets and scribes.
Moreover, following Grusch's testimony, Vatican officials stated that no documentation exists within their archives to confirm any such assistance in recovering a UFO. Similarly, the Department of Defense has claimed that Grusch's statements, while compelling, are unverified and lack public evidence.
Critics argue that until more documentation is released, such narratives remain speculative at best—though believers maintain that a slow disclosure process is already underway. See my blog on Dr. Steven Greer for more insight into the Disclosure Project. In that blog, I have a link to a free movie he developed called The Cosmic Truth Revealed by the United States.

Ezekiel's vision is a symbolic representation of extraterrestrial beings or advanced bio-mechanical entities unfamiliar to human eyes.
Believe it or not
In conclusion, while hard evidence remains elusive, a growing body of eyewitness testimony and detailed data—ranging from astronomical research and theological openness to historical claims and whistleblower testimony—indicates the Vatican knows more than it publicly admits.
We understand that this is not new news. However, the level of secrecy is vastly different from the 70s and 80s. As a result, we are entering a new age of consciousness and enlightenment. If you are open to new ideas, you may find that the most fascinating information you have ever heard has been right in front of you the whole time. Live long and prosper!
