Giant steps forward
Over time, we get the opportunity to learn new concepts and apply them to our current understanding. Today, I learned that giants are real and live among us. To be clear, I knew that giants existed worldwide, but I didn't realize those giants are still living today. In my blog, I share stories from WWII vets who swear these people not only existed but interacted with them. I also tie together related stories to prove that this human has been around for as long as we have.
Firstly, during the turbulent years of World War II, many hidden and unexplored corners of the globe were unexpectedly brought to light. Among this era's most fascinating and lesser-known discoveries is the sighting of 12-foot-tall humanoid beings on the Solomon Islands.
Located in the South Pacific, this island chain served as a strategic battleground between Allied and Japanese forces. However, strange encounters began to emerge beyond the combat and tactical movements—ones that have puzzled researchers and explorers for decades.
Eye Witness
Further, numerous military personnel and local inhabitants reported strange sightings of giant human-like figures. These beings were said to stand between 10 and 15 feet tall, with muscular builds and long, reddish hair. Meanwhile, according to some veterans, including helicopter pilot Marius Boirayon—saw the giants walking through the jungles with ease,
lifting heavy logs effortlessly and even appearing indifferent to human presence. As a result, theories quickly circulated, ranging from ancient races to extraterrestrial origins.

Moreover, these accounts were not isolated. In fact, multiple tribes native to the Solomon Islands have passed down oral histories for generations about a race of giant beings known as the "Guayafa." These tales describe them as once having lived in the mountains and thick jungles, occasionally interacting with humans but often remaining elusive. Consequently, many researchers have suggested that the WWII sightings may have simply confirmed ancient local legends rather than introduced a new mystery.
In addition to these local accounts, many scholars and theologians have drawn parallels between the Guayafa and the Nephilim of ancient biblical texts. The Nephilim, according to the Book of Genesis and the Book of Enoch, were the offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men."
In other words, they are the giants who walked the Earth before and after the Great Flood. Therefore, this ancient connection raises a compelling question: could the giants of the Solomon Islands be descendants of the Nephilim?
Myths or Truth?
Furthermore, the Book of Enoch gives additional details about these mysterious beings, explaining that they were beings of great strength, size, and intelligence who were ultimately wiped out due to their corruption of the Earth. Similarly, the Guayafa are considered physically superior to humans and capable of incredible feats of strength. As a result, the parallels in both lore and appearance have led some researchers to argue that the Guayafa may, in fact, be a surviving remnant of the Nephilim bloodline.
In addition, I share stories of the Anunnaki, who are ancient deities described in Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, and Assyrian texts—some of the oldest known records on Earth. According to these Mesopotamian myths, the Anunnaki are powerful beings from the heavens who came to Earth and interacted with and created early humans.
Meanwhile, Zecharia Sitchin supported the idea that the Anunnaki are an advanced extraterrestrial race from the planet Nibiru/planet X who genetically engineered humans for labor, particularly for mining gold.
Sons and Daughters
Further, The Nephilim, as described in the Book of Genesis (6:1-4) and more extensively in the Book of Enoch, were the offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men." In traditional interpretation, "sons of God" are sometimes seen as fallen angels, but in ancient astronaut theory, they are extraterrestrials—possibly the Anunnaki themselves. So, the Nephilim are giants who lived before and after the Great Flood.
Therefore, if we interpret the "sons of God" as the Anunnaki, then the Nephilim would be their direct hybrid offspring—part celestial or extraterrestrial and part human. We can surmise that these "people" survived and flourished in different parts of the world.
As a result, the Guayafa could be a regional remnant or isolated bloodline of the Nephilim, who were, in turn, possibly created by the Anunnaki. Consequently, it is not illogical to consider the Anunnaki as the "parents" of the Nephilim and the Guayafa as their long-surviving descendants in seclusion.
More to the story
Equally important, the geographical isolation of the Solomon Islands provides a suitable hiding place for such beings to avoid mainstream detection. Likewise, the islands have dense jungles, high mountain ranges, and vast cave systems that remain largely unexplored. Because of this, the possibility remains open that these giants—or their descendants—could still inhabit these remote areas without human interference. Hence, this strengthens the argument for further scientific and archaeological investigation.
Finally, numerous Native American tribes and legends speak of giant beings similar to the Nephilim of ancient Hebrew texts. The Paiute tells of the red-haired Si-Te-Cah giants, who were aggressive cannibals and eventually burned alive in Lovelock Cave.
Similarly, the Comanche describe massive white giants capable of lifting buffalo, who the Great Spirit destroyed for their cruelty. The Choctaw speak of the Nahullo—towering, pale-skinned giants driven out of their society due to cruelty. These consistent themes of oversized beings, spiritual punishment, and prehistoric presence suggest a deep-rooted cultural memory of powerful humanoids that lived alongside humans.

In addition to these oral traditions, other tribes such as the Hopi and Zuni tell of the Ant People—mysterious underground beings who helped humans survive ancient cataclysms, often viewed by alternative theorists as hybrid or non-human. Furthermore, 19th- and early 20th-century reports from across the American Midwest described the discovery of large skeletons and tools in ancient burial mounds.
Nevertheless, these findings were often dismissed or lost like anything that goes against religious history. The overlap between indigenous legends and these physical reports has led many to consider whether these stories could point to a shared global narrative of giants or hybrid beings, potentially connected to the Nephilim or similar ancient lineages.
Read it, and weep
Despite ongoing skepticism from mainstream science, interest in the Nephilim and Guayafa connection has only grown in recent years. Notably, alternative historians, biblical researchers, and even ancient astronaut theorists have taken a renewed interest in these giants.
In addition, as technology continues to advance, it becomes increasingly feasible to explore the deep jungles and hidden caves of the Solomon Islands with drones, LIDAR, and satellite imaging. Hence, many believe it's only a matter of time before more definitive evidence comes to light.

These giants may not just be remnants of our past—they could be keys to understanding our origins.
Ultimately, the convergence of religious scripture, tribal lore, and modern encounters suggests that humanity has coexisted with extraordinary beings far longer than mainstream history admits.
Whether viewed through the lens of biblical Nephilim, Anunnaki genetics, or ancestral memory preserved by indigenous cultures, the truth seems far more complex than we know. With new tools and open minds, we are on the brink of rediscovering a forgotten chapter of our shared story. In other words, giants never truly disappeared but simply have been waiting to be seen again.
