I told you so!

Dream on

Reading and interpreting the signs of the future can seem daunting. However, if you can recognize patterns, you'll better understand what is coming in your future. Likewise, in today's post, I would like to share the history of a fascinating man who not only predicted the future, he could pinpoint individuals' names.

Edgar Cayce, known as the "Sleeping Prophet," delivered thousands of readings in a trance-like state throughout his life (1877-1945). These readings covered a wide range of topics, including past lives, health, spirituality, and future events. His pronouncements about the future, often called prophecies, have garnered great fame.

Cayce is often compared to Nostradamus. But he was far more prolific than Nostradamus, with his 14,000 plus readings. He was also more accurate.

Crystal Clear

Cayce mostly gave psychic readings for people with great difficulty or suffering. He never asked for money, and he never took advantage of them. However, besides offering readings to people, he also prophesized about world events, the past, and the future.

Prove it!

Here are some of Cayce's most well-known prophesies:

World Events:

  • World Wars: Cayce predicted both World Wars, including their start and end years.
  • Earth Changes: He warned of potential natural disasters like earthquakes and tidal waves, particularly affecting coastal areas.
  • Shifting Political Landscape: Edgar spoke of political and social upheavals, emphasizing the need for individual and collective spiritual growth to navigate these challenges.

Technological Advancements:

  • Alternative Energy: He predicted developing and using solar and geothermal energy sources.
  • Communication Technologies: Some interpret his pronouncements about "rays" and "crystal oscillators" as foreshadowing developments in communication technology like radio and the internet.

Spiritual and Self-Discovery:

  • Rise of Mysticism: Cayce envisioned a growing interest in Eastern philosophies and alternative spiritual paths alongside traditional religions.
  • Individual Responsibility: He emphasized the importance of personal growth and responsibility for one's actions and well-being.

Yeah, but how accurate is he...

Assessing the accuracy of Edgar Cayce's prophesies is open to interpretation and the passage of time. However, here are some of his claims and fulfilled predictions and accurate prophesies:

Matches:

  • World Wars: Cayce accurately predicted both World Wars, based on readings mentioning "conflicts in Europe" and "a great disturbance." He predicted WWI in early 1914 and WWII in 1935.
  • Stock Market Crash of 1929: Edgar made two statements hinting at a financial downturn before the 1929 crash. During a reading in 1925 for a young doctor, Cayce reportedly advised caution and discretion with finances due to "adverse forces that will come then in 1929.
  • Death of Franklin D. Roosevelt: Cayce's mention of "trouble with the heart" for a prominent leader was interpreted by some as predicting Roosevelt's death from heart failure. Several readings delivered in 1944-45 mentioned potential "trouble" or "changes" for a leader with the initials "F.D.R." or "Roosevelt." Notably, Roosevelt passed away on April 12, 1945.
  • Death of John F. Kennedy: While Cayce spoke of a tragedy involving a president with the initials "J.F.,

More?

  • Second Coming of Christ: Cayce's pronouncements about a "sleeping prophet" returning have been interpreted by some as predicting the second coming of Christ.
  • A shift in human consciousness: Cayce envisioned a future where humanity undergoes a significant spiritual transformation characterized by increased awareness, compassion, and understanding.
  • Reincarnation and soul evolution: Edgar's beliefs in reincarnation and the ongoing progress of souls resonated with some Christian traditions that consider the Second Coming a symbolic representation of humanity's spiritual advancement.
  • Spin City

Finally, Edgar Cayce pronounced the discovery of Atlantis. In April 1933, Edgar cited a clear reference to Atlantis' location near Bimini Island around 1968/9. Today, it is called Bimini Road. Cayce frequently mentioned a "road" or "wall" under the sea near Bimini Island in the Bahamas as potential evidence of Atlantis.

Moreover, Cayce didn't predict a singular, dramatic discovery event for Atlantis. Instead, he envisioned a gradual process of unearthing artifacts and understanding their history through various sources. Meanwhile, Some readings hint at the need for specific technology or scientific advancements to facilitate the discovery process.

Subsequently, The "Bimini Road" wasn't discovered in the traditional sense by archeologists unearthing an ancient artifact or monument. Instead, it was first encountered in 1968 by Jacques Mayol, a French free diver, and Robert Angove, an American underwater photographer, while exploring the shallow waters off the northwest coast of North Bimini Island in the Bahamas.

They stumbled upon a series of large, rectangular limestone blocks arranged in a linear formation underwater, resembling a submerged road. This unusual sight quickly captivated public attention and fueled speculation about its origin and potential connection to the mythical lost city of Atlantis.

    Read all About It!

Likewise, Edgar Cayce maintained that Atlantis was the "first" civilization that was technologically superior to ours. He added that its last surviving islands disappeared somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean some ten thousand years ago. In addition, Cayce revealed that the size of Atlantis was equal to that of Eurasia. He saw visions of this continent of the past, which had gone through three significant periods of division. The first two occurred around 15,600 B.C. when the mainland was divided into islands. The three main islands of Atlantis were Poseida, Og, and Aryan.

Further, Edgar claimed that the Atlanteans were well-versed in technology that harnessed the power of the quantum world. As a result, they used crystals and sound waves for healing. Elevators and connecting tunnels operated with compressed air and steam. They used quartz crystal science to mine gold, copper, and silver from the earth.

Cayce continued that the Atlanteans were adept at using silicon chips at levels unrivaled in the modern world. The Crystal Skull, for example, was cut with such infinite precision that "no known modern tool could have replicated the job." Finally, they extensively used mass mental telepathy, psychokinesis (use of the mind to move objects), and astral projection (body of light) into fourth-dimensional consciousness.

    Shifting over Time

How did Cayce see humanity evolve? He often emphasized the ongoing evolution of human consciousness towards greater awareness, love, and spiritual understanding. Edgar envisioned a future where humankind transcends materialism and focuses on developing compassion, intuition, and connection to the Divine.

As a result, some readings alluded to a potential rise in psychic and intuitive abilities as human consciousness expands. So, this aligns with Cayce's belief in the interconnectedness of all beings and the potential for accessing higher realms of knowledge beyond the five senses.

Does this align with the coming shift many current psychics and channels predict for 2024 and beyond? Yes, Cayce warned of potential challenges accompanying the shift. He stressed the importance of balancing intellectualism and spiritual development and taking individual responsibility for navigating the changes with ethical wisdom and compassion.

Moreover, Cayce didn't predict a specific date for the shift but described it as a gradual process unfolding over generations. He believed individuals' choices and actions would collectively contribute to the overall direction of human consciousness. Most importantly, Edgar saw individual spiritual awakenings as catalysts for the broader shift. He encouraged introspection, prayer, and meditation as practices to facilitate awareness expansion and alignment with the higher aspects of the self.

    Always Connected

Although cautious about pinpointing specific events, Cayce hinted at potential societal changes reflecting the shift. That is to say, he envisioned increased emphasis on social harmony, environmental protection, and a holistic (fully interconnected) approach to education and healthcare.

Please take a moment to see if you notice how the old systems are currently struggling to stay solvent. Education, healthcare, clean water, and government always speak to the lack of funds needed to support the greater community. What if we took Cayce's prediction, or knowing at face value and trusted in each other? How would the world look today if we replaced fear of lack with the understanding that we all have more than enough? What solutions would await us if holistic (whole) thinking could replace acute (one area or focus) panic? Take a breath, and observe instead of react. The future is now.
