This is not a religious blog and it does not support any particular theology but since I am a U.S. based citizen the word heaven means beauty and safety to me. A place or idea of perfection and as I was taught, only a place to go if I am good and follow a certain set of rules.
The Merriam-Webster definition of heaven is a place or condition of utmost happiness: something that is very pleasant or enjoyable.
I hear a lot of people ask, what does heaven look like? Will earth be the new heaven? And finally, is heaven real?
These are all good questions and something I think we should all consider. No matter what your religious affiliation is or even if you are agnostic, you have no doubt wondered about a place where there is no sin and you are in a place of happiness and contentment.
So, the question is, can there be the existence of heaven on earth? My contention is you are already experiencing it. It is already here.
I know, you've already spit out your coffee and have dismissed me and this blog. I get it. However, if you choose to read on I will share my perspective with you.
Great, you're still with me. I have considered the teachings of certain religions, philosophers, and even some interesting perspectives from modern quantum physics practitioners.
Let's start out with a religious perspective. Outside of the traditional thinking of living an exemplary life and following a specific set of rules in order to enter the gates of heaven, all religions talk of an afterlife. This afterlife my contain the whole person or their spirit or soul. There is an idea of continuation and evolution.
The philosopher Aristotle, believed that all things were composed of matter (physical material) and form. The matter was the foundation of truth or potentiality, and form was the truth of actuality or intension. Simply put, the matter was the idea and form was what made matter into, something specific. An example is a provable science, 99.9% of everything is energy (no matter) and 0.1% is the matter (physical material or stuff). So as Aristotle propositioned, what you think of is what you create.

Now let's look at quantum physics and the idea of creation through attention. I just told you about Aristotle the philosopher and he lived in 385 BC, which was 2,405 years ago. His explanation of matter and form was an explanation for God. We now look at it as the basic elements of physics. I believe you can find both simultaneously true if you desire.
As I consider all of the information I start to realize that yes, I can create heaven on earth if I can "believe" it. And this is where the rub comes in. I have to be with all that is going on in the world today. I have to see and hear people treating each other with love and care as well as people abusing others to get what they want. How can I look at all of this and still believe that there is heaven on earth? The simple answer is I have to believe it. I have to be it.
In all truth, I am not there but I will endeavor to pursue the idea of heaven on earth. In my mind, this pursuit may be the key to unlocking the truth that we are all here to create. Take our energy and apply it to the 0.1% matter and make what it is we desire.
I hope this helps you want to continue to create.
