This has been an incredibly challenging week for me. On a personal level, I was being tested by a family member in ways I wasn't sure I was ready to take on. I was and I did. I helped my daughter acclimate to a new school and a new way of participating with teachers and other students. I had experienced her grace right before my eyes.
I experienced all the emotions one could have when it comes to watching a horrific scene of violence and unnecessary pain unfold right on television.
People came together and showed their true selves and I watched those who should be outraged remain tolerent and gracious.
In each moment of now, we each have a choice to make of who we want to be. The choice is either to be in a state of love or a state of fear. I choose tolerance and peace.
