I'm starting to realize that my life is taking a new direction. A direction, if I'm being honest, I am only partially conscious of.
In the realm of quantum physics, there is a science-based thought that states you are made up of 99.9% energy and 0.1% matter. Furthermore, you are unconscious of about 97% of your thoughts. This means your "thinking" brain is only hearing 3% of what you are actually thinking or being about.
When I started this "personal" growth work and I received this information I was stunned. First of all, I am almost 100% energy. That still blows my mind.
Based on this information I had a lot of questions like, how do I learn what those unconscious thoughts are? Are those thoughts bad? Is my unconscious running the show? Am I the only one going through this? If I'm mostly energy what does that mean?
Years of work and mindfulness later I got those answers. Yes, you can access those thoughts by meditation (whatever form you use to relax and unplug). My unconscious thoughts are neither bad nor good. They just are thoughts. I can choose to make "new" thoughts anytime I want. Yes, your unconscious thoughts are running the show. Think about that percentage again, 97% of the thoughts you have, you are completely unaware of in the waking moments of your day. No, you are not the only one going through this. We are all working on being more aware of our unconsciousness. To what degree is entirely up to you. And finally, if I'm mostly energy what does that really mean? It means that we are living in a quantum reality where our thoughts and dreams can be manifested by the sheer act of belief. If you believe it is true then it is.
Remember, when you bring light into a dark area you start to see things. Those things are waiting for you to discover them and "be" with them. If you are like me, the dark can be a little scary or unnerving but the more time you spend in that place the easier it gets to be there.

So, what am I doing with my new direction you may ask. Well, I am being with the discomfort of all the things I have ignored all these years and yes, it is a bit uncomfortable. I find myself walking away from news shows more often. I find myself asking more questions about why things are the way they are more.
I have also become more clear on my judgment of people and situations which has opened the door for me to move into observation. By observing what I see, I have more of an opportunity to be with the discomfort or joy. I can bring those feelings back to me and just "be" with them. This allows me the opportunity to not try and fix or change anything. Having these feelings and thoughts reminds me that I'm not the one who has to bear the responsibility anymore.
I feel more peaceful and less stressed. This helps me become more of who I have always been, a participant in this experience called life.
