A New Direction to Go In

You Create Your Reality

Since the beginning of 2020, I have started to realize that my life is taking a new direction. A direction, if I am honest, I am only partially conscious of.
In the realm of quantum physics, there is a science-based thought that states you are made up of 99.9% energy and 0.1% matter. Furthermore, you are unconscious of about 97% of your thoughts. Sigmund Freud would argue it is more like 70% but, this still means your "thinking" brain is only hearing 3% - 30% of what you are actually thinking about, and the rest is unheard and unknown.
When I first started this personal growth work, and I received all this new information, I was stunned. First of all, I am almost 100% energy and 1% matter, incredible. That still blows my mind. If you read about Niels Bohr, a Nobel physicist in the 1930s, you will note his famous quote. “If quantum mechanics hasn’t profoundly shocked you, you haven’t understood it yet. Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real".
His quote came at a time when I was learning about my ability to self actualize and manifest. Bohr states in this quote that everything we thought we knew is actually not the real truth. The truth is everything is energy, and we need to start to integrate that knowledge into our daily lives.
Another example would be Schrödinger's cat, this is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, conceived by physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935, during a discussion he had with Albert Einstein. It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics.

Empirical Data

The experiment, Schrödinger's cat, is described as the cat is neither alive nor dead until observed — until that time, the cat is both alive and dead.  Here is a good video that covers it in more detail. A final example of how energy, Atoms, create the world we live in, is
based on the scientific work of the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they conducted groundbreaking research that identified that the greater the amount of "watching," the greater the observer's influence on what actually takes place.  Read the full article by clicking this link.  In psychology, this is known as the observer effect and how your observation affects reality. Based on this new information, I had finally found empirical evidence that what we focus on is what we create. So if we can create what we focus on and we are only aware of 3% - 30% of our thoughts, how do we know what we are manifesting at any given moment?
Naturally, I had a lot more questions like, how do I learn what those unconscious thoughts are? Are those thoughts considered wrong? Is my unconscious mind running the show? Am I the only one going through this? If I am mostly energy, what does that mean for my perceived reality? Who invented liquid soap and why?

How Meditation Can Help You Manifest

I was so curious that I would dedicate years of study and mindfulness to get those answers. To answer the first question, I needed to do something I have never done before, meditate. Through my research, I found that this is the best way of getting access to those unconscious thoughts. When you meditate, you are releasing control, and your "thinking" mind is transferred to a quiet space. Your unconsciousness will be able to start to reveal itself. It is my belief and understanding that unconscious thoughts are neither bad nor good. They are just thoughts. It is how you perceive those thoughts that make them bad or good. Now we can start to do the work on our judgment of things, people, and feelings. Here is the fun part, you can choose to make "new" thoughts anytime you want.
My third question is, are my unconscious thoughts running the show? Yes, your unconscious thoughts are running the show, or your life in this example. Think about that percentage again, 97% of the thoughts you have at any given time are out of your awareness. And that 97% is contributing to your energy or focus. Based on the research I provided above, you can see how much this contributes to your energetic life.
If this is the first time you have heard about this, you can be sure that you are not the only one shocked by this information. And you are not the only one who is working on being more aware of your unconsciousness. How much time and effort you want to spend on learning this information is entirely up to you.

Your Reality is What You Think About

My last question is if I'm mostly energy what does that mean? It means that we are living in a quantum reality where our thoughts and dreams can be manifested by the sheer act of believing. If you believe that something is true, then it is. If you believe that you are the creator of your world, then you are. If you know that you are lucky, you're lucky.
Remember, when you bring light into a dark room, you start to see things. Those things are trying to get your attention and have been waiting for you to discover them. If you are like me, the dark can be a little scary, but the more time you spend in that place, the easier it gets to be there.

The Discomfort in Your Life is Trying to Get Your Attention

So, what am I doing with this new direction, you may ask. Well, I am starting to be with the discomfort of all the things I have ignored all these years, and yes, it is a bit uncomfortable. I find myself walking away from tv news shows more often than I ever have before. I find myself asking more questions about why things are the way they are more often. I have also become more clear on my judgment of people and situations, which has opened the door for me to move into observation. By observing what I see, I have more of an opportunity to be with the discomfort or joy. I can bring those feelings back to me and just be with them. It allows me the opportunity to stay present with a sensation and not try and fix or change anything. Having these feelings and thoughts reminds me that I am not the one who has to bear all the responsibility anymore.
I feel more peaceful and less stressed. I know I have the opportunity to become more of who I have always been, a participant in this experience called life.
